Notice from our Club Chairman Chris Burton Updated and Posted on Tuesday 11th May 2021.
I am sure that all of our Players, Parents, Coaches, Management team and volunteers will all be pleased to be back playing football again. I must re-iterate that the rule of one parent to one child will remain until Government guidelines allow us to allow more parents to spectate at our matches. It is imperative that we still adhere to the guidelines to avoid our fixtures being suspended. Further updated details will be provided on this site as soon as we are made aware of any changes and guidelines that we are provided with.
I would like to personally thank all of our Members again for following the strict guidelines that were presented to us, to ensure that we hopefully all stayed safe during this up and down season.
Unfortunately we reaped what was sown during the Autumn of 2020, with the minority of certain individuals not adhering to the Guidelines issued by our Government, to ensure that the Covid-19 virus was contained. Unfortunately that effected the Majority of us who did follow the guidelines. With the inevitable lockdown happening again in December 2020.
We now have new guidelines provided by our Government on May 10th 2021, to see the hopeful lifting of restrictions to our footballing activities during May 2021.
In the meantime I can only advise you all to stay safe and keep following the current guidelines, If you are unsure on any of the restrictions still in place, please do not hesitate to contact myself as our Welfare and Covid Officer on 07791-919766 or my assitant Wayne Davis on 07723-025176. Both of us will be able to assist you. I will keep in touch and update you all as the current situation changes for whatever the reason.
Yours in Sport Chris.
Hawkins Sports FC would like to wish all of our Members a Happier 2021.
